does anyone have one of these that is in good condition.. i posted another thread where my clinder is misfiring etc, and i believe i may have cracked head.. just trying to see how much it costs etc.

when i saw your thread title, i couldn't agree more. i need head, drivers side please!

looks like there is a drivers side head off a sl500 on ebay. swap over your cam and i am guessing it would work. i assume they would deck the block and heads the same for the sl55 and sl500.

yeah i don't think they are the same.. sl500 motor is a 5.0 and sl55 is a 5.4.. i may have found one for cheap, but will do some final testing possibly tomorrow before i buy it.
