SL 63 W/B AMG , S600,C220
First impressions SL63
The steering is ultra light but stiffens with speed. The interior is totally
different, doesn't feel like your in a SL. Very quick, I would say because of
the gearbox about the same as my tweaked 65. Gearbox in manual is very
impressive. Lovely exhaust note, more growl and less rasp than the previous
63. Excellent ride, very smooth and comfortable love the new seats. Very
low road noise, latest Continental 5 tyres. Feels wide when driving.
Far to many gismos , going to take ages to learn how to use everything,
probably wont bother, I didn't order them, they wanted a show car so ordered all the extras.
Lastly the word AMG lights up at night on the entry..
All in all I think it's superb, not a fan of the nose shape, but the rest makes up for it.
Don't know whether to tweak it, over 600 bhp on offer with 695 lbs torque.
