HELP - SL63 problems!!!
I'm new to mbworld. I have owned several MB's in the past and other AMG's.
I liked my C63 so much and my SL550 that I sold them and purchased a used 2009 CPO SL63AMG with the performance package.
I have only put about 600 miles since i purchased it last summer. Transmission problems with what feels like slipping when you take off.
Been to dealer service several times for this.
But now it appears that the fast I drive it the suspension raises up. As if your hitting the ride height adjust button.
Dealer is trying to tell me this is normal. Seems very strange that you would raise a car the faster you go.
Anyone else with a SL63... can you confirm or deny.
thank you!

MBWorld Fanatic!
read the owners manual about the height. the early trans had problems and they had several software updates. make sure the dealer has checked them all . but since you have cpo, just keep returning it and demand they fix it. If not take it to a different dealer

Thank you for the reply... I've read all the items on the MCT issues but cant seem to get MB to read about them.
On my second dealer now.
And the good ol owners manual...
Page 158
The vehicle chassis ride height is raised or
lowered according to the selected level set-
ting and to the vehicle speed. With increasing
speed, the ride height is reduced by up to
approximately 0.5 in (12 mm). With decreas-
ing speed, the ride height is again raised to
the selected vehicle level.
Sent a copy to the dealer as well.
thanks again.
