Seatbelt part

Hey guys,

I need your help again identifying the part number for the seat belts. I've tried calling the parts department for my dealer but they won't tell me the part number. They give me some internal number and only orders through them (which is very expensive).

I'd like to replace both the driver and passenger seatbelt. Would anyone happen to know the part number?

I would really appreciate it!

I purchased a pre-owned 2005 SL55 and just wanted to replace the belt itself. But it seems that I have to replace the entire hardness? Which the dealer is quoting me $490 for each?

here are the part numbers for gray and black belts for a 2005 SL55

the pricing is from oediscountparts.com . curiously, the right is less expencive than the left. Part of the reason that they are so pricey (aside from being mercedes parts) is that they come as an assembly and include some of the mechanical elements. (see "1" in drawing)

23086004859C94 - seat belt assy black Right
MSRP Core ? Online Price
$438.00 $0.00 $328.50

23086001859C94 - seat belt assy black Left
MSRP Core ? Online Price
$490.00 $0.00 $367.50

23086004857F03 - seat belt assy gray Right

23086001857F03 - seat belt assy gray Left

Cheers,
Chris

To be 100% sure you get the right stuff, then give me your VIN and I will find it for you in EPC

BTW .... why will you change them?

@amok55amg - Thank you for your help! I checked with Tracy at oediscountparts.com and they seem to be the correct one. There are only two color versions, black and grey. I got back and hopefully that's the correct color. When I look at mine, it looks like it's dark grey rather than "black". But I think grey is very light grey.

I just purchased a pre-owned 05 SL55 and wanted to replace a couple parts on it.

If you’re a do-it-yourself-man I will strongly recommend you get this CD - you can buy it at your local MB dealer ............... it will save you thousands of dollars
