Rear end wiggle after lowering
I am hoping someone here can help me. I have an 04 sl55 that I just lowered with a renntech lowering module. I also had the shop install the renntech camber bushings and toe links. I bought these parts years ago but never got around to installing them. In addition, I had them align the car with the stock wheels. After the alignment we put on my 20 inch wheels that I usually run every summer and take off in the winter. So long story short, get the car back yesterday and go for a ride and experienced insane amount of instability in the rear under hard acceleration, to the point where it was so unstable it got scary! I've done some searching here and have read that the toe links fix this issue, but for me it exaggerated it 10 fold. The rear tires are nitto neogen 305/25zr20 and the fronts are 245/30's. I've run these tires for many seasons without this issue at all. Is this an alignment issue or did the shop perhaps not install something correctly? Any ideas would be helpful.

you splay (toe in goes out) under hard acceleration. This could be a few things- wrong toe in, wrong tire pressure, worn out bushings (lower control arms, rear subframe bushings, etc.

Toe out will do that measure the toe out with a tape measure ,measure with car on ground ,measure from back of back tires across and the front of the back tires across this will give you a rough estimate if you are toe out
