importing an SL55????
Has anyone ever had any experience (or does anyone have any knowledge) of importing an SL55 from Europe to the US?
First, are the SL55's more available in Europe than here?
What is involved in doing the importation? how much does it cost?
Are there any implications (like voiding warranties, reduced resale values)?

Hmm..although Sodor claims to specialize in this thing, they brushed me off pretty heavily--here's the response (verbatim):
