Some help needed on running an extra H/E in series with stock.
Just got my Frozeboost H/E in today and want to run it in conjunction with the stock h/e. Can anyone that has done this share some insight on how the plumbing is done? From what I gathered on some random threads is that the bottom fitting/hose on the aftermarket h/e goes directly to the pump and the top inlet goes to the stock h/e? Just want to make sure before I install this behemoth of a H/E.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Great. Do you know how the diameter on the hoses by any chance? Gonna order some NPT fittings, wondering if I should get 1/2" or 3/4".

Nvm. I think i'm gonna return it and buy the ZZP H/E instead. This thing weighs a ton which I didn't know prior to purchasing. (17 lbs!!)

3/4 all the way, the unions at the Sc go down to 1/2 inch inside diameter but your not going to be messing with them but all hoses on the car are 3/4. look at Speedriven heat exchangers they are one of the better ones from what I was told by other people, that's what I just put on my 04 SL55. They are not hung from under the bumper they go in front of of the others so when the fans running it draws the air across it. Did you split your system yet or pump to run full time? Before anyone ask I didn't take any temps before and after split and HE I only did it because its so Hot here in Tampa.

Interesting, so that speedriven unit goes in front of the original stack of condensor/heat exchanger/radiator? Thanks a lot for the help by the way. I think I am just going to run the pump to run full time and not split the system.

Installed the H/E today, will take pics tomorrow. Ended up not running it in series as I saw no point to that. Will wire the pump to run always also.
