Anyone used KMAC Cambers?

It's been a long wait but my car is ready to go in the shop next week, got the exhaust stuff, lsd, lowering links, and everything else ready to go except the toelinks/cambers. Apparently no one can get in touch with MB Arts so there goes my first choice. I was looking at KMAC and they offer front cambers, and rear camber and toe adjustment and the price isn't bad either. about $1,000 for the whole thing, but has anyone used them on a SL? Ive read reviews with people using them on C, E and the CLS and they all seem happy, but I figure I get some input for the R230s before I order them

Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension
I wouldnt use the links at all. I know the kmac will work on certain cars, dont know if it makes enough difference to give a good alignment, i never heard anyone say it works perfectly and is the final answer for SLs. I never saw anyone give a alignment reading w & w/out the adjustable links or adjustable bushings.
I think the best answer is to adjust the front with stock MB camber bolts for $50 and leave the rear alone. For $500 to $800 you can offset buying alot of new tires, considering that the extra alignment MAY get you 2 or 4 thousand miles more wear out of the rear tires

I am using the Kmac bushings front and rear on my 2005 SL65. I did not use the rear toe bushings from the kit as I have the MB Arts toe links.

My car is lowered with the Renntech DLM so I really needed to do something about the excessive camber.

The result? Still working on it but the front camber was brought in to -1.6 degrees and 11 degrees of caster. The rear is at -.6 degrees camber and toe just slightly negative at .05 degrees. (I know that is outside of MB specs, that is how I want it)

Car handling seems fine, straight line traction is improved and the rear walkabout has been lessened but it is not gone.

I do have a squeak in the rear now, I do not see how it can be the bushings as I have lubricated them very well but nonetheless, it is there. I have a thought that it may be the left rear strut since lowering but I cannot be sure and will remove the strut and cycle the suspension manually to see. The front does not squeak at all.....

Would I advise one to use Kmac? I dunno....it is a very rudimentary device on a very complicated vehicle so to me the solution provided is not as elegant as the vehicle. What other choice is there? Maybe a one off machined concentric using roller bearings pressed in such as the factory bushings.......

I do not think that I would race my vehicle on a road course with them but to correct alignment problems on the occasional freeway blaster or drag racing they should be fine. I will see about uploading a pic from my phone to give you an idea of how my car sits.

Here are the details of my latest alignment. The top section is before and the last section is after. Ignore the rear toe readings on the after as it was corrected after. I hope this helps you.

Let me know how the cambers turn out, I've been trying to get some MB Arts Toe Links, but I haven't been able to contact them, and people I know haven't been able to contact them either.

If I can't get a hold of some MB Arts toe links, looks like I'm stuck with buying some Renntech toe links
