02 SL 55 Amg

04 or 02 SL55 AMG

Hi all,

I have an option to buy a 02 with 95k one owner, great condition or a 04 with 112km also great condition,,,
Any opinions?

Ps: anything in particular should I be checking / looking for on these two cars. I read that some earlier models are known to have suspension, water pump, and electrical issues???

If both are in the same shape, go with the '04. The difference in mileage is not enough to make the '02 automatically better. Seems like most of the common issues to these cars are more age related than mileage so see which has had some of them repaired. At 10 years old, a lot can go wrong and as everyone here knows, they are not cheap to fix.
