Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft for R230?
So I was bored a few nights back and was just browsing around for other parts to upgrade when I came across Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft that Weistec had for the CLK63.
So it got me curious if there was a similar part for the R230s, I checked on the forums and people were talking about shops that would make it if there was a group buy, on some old threads, but the posts haven't been updated.
I figured by reducing weight on a major component such as the drive shaft would reduce power loss from engine to wheel, but I'm not sure if a carbon fiber drive shaft could handle the torque of cars like the SL65, maybe Aluminium?
Anyways is anyone up to date on those old threads?
