2003 SL55 AMG
MB models with ABC suspension??????
In order for my contact to make a decision on marketing the ABC filter that is referenced in my post about the maintenance of this system, I'd like to learn HOW MANY MB models (e.g. W220, R230, etc.) have this system.
IF any of you know the designations for all the models with ABC, could you please post it for me?

I think you are better off with a high pressure hydraulic filter to keep the particles out of the system entirely. Those metal particles also clog the struts and control blocks. A filter on the return line will only keep it from recirculating back into the pump but does not keep it from accumulating in the other areas of the system. Do a search online for high pressure hydraulic filters.
All 2000 and later CL/S 55/65/600's have ABC and all 2003+ SL's have ABC. It was an option on the 500/55 cars in the S class. All CL's from 2000 to, I think, around 2011 have ABC. After that, it was an option on the CL 550's and recently became an aption on the SL550's.
