Hello,
I need to change my ECU as I'm suffering with a starting problem, anyway I have a question guy, how do they put on Ebay that this ECU was taken from SL500, and fits SL55.
This will cause the car to run like an SL500 :P?
My ECU # is A1131590979, I couldn't find it on ebay, can you help me find one?
Or do you know if I can put any other ECU?

Are you sure you need a ECU? Starting issues can be a lot of things but ECU do not fail very often, unless they get "bricked".

The problem is that water leaked into the ECU, we dried it, its working fine but it still fail to start sometimes. The workshop confirmed that the starter, and everything is fine, but the ECU maybe failing.

I would search salvage yards for a used one. We had Fedx crush an ECU that was sent to us for tuning. The customer didn't buy insurance on the shipment and he was looking at $2500 for a new one. We were able to locate one from a salvage yard for $500. We programed the ECU for the car, tuned it and everything was fine.
