How to remove rear passenger tail light on a 2009 SL65?
There is a thread about removing a 2003-2004 tail light, does anyone know if the newer body style has the same procedure?
I went away for a month and came back to find out that my friend that was keeping the battery fresh had to back the car out as my partner was moving some things in our warehouse and my friend was afraid that the car was too close for comfort. He backed straight out and heard a crunch, a carpenter had his tail gate on his pickup down and a sheet of plywood was sticking out a few feet past the tail gate. My friend was used to listening for the parking sensors rapid beep but the 1/2 inch thick plywood did not appear in the rear view mirror.
I dont blame my friend as my windows are tinted very dark as I live in a very warm climate. It was a 700 dollar day for him and he felt awful but he was just thankful that there was no paint or body damage.
thanks for any info, I would rather fix it myself than go through the process of dropping it off at the dealer or body shop etc.
