2003 SL55

03 SL55 SBC help!!

My SBC crapped out, any way to get around spending $1700+ just for the part from the dealer???

2003 SL55 / 2002 SLK32

the dealer only sells a remanufactured SBC unit. you can buy the same remanufactured unit from oediscountparts.com for less than $800. I did and installed it myself in my 2003 SL 55

I would not recommend a used one as they actually have a count out feature. once they reach so many applications they need to be replaced
