I have been talking to SGC lately, and a lot of thought went into setting that record time. A lot of people in those days assumed it must have been NOS since the times were so drastically improved and that MPH was astonishing, but it was all weight reduction in the right places, unsprung weight. Honestly I had speculation myself at one point of the usage of NOS but after making more research and finally speaking to him we can put those assumptions to rest. Everything the car had was mentioned in a thread somewhere here on MBworld when he ran the 10.2.
This racing season will definitely be interesting and I am sure someone will improve on that 10.2
. The beauty would be to see a 4000+ lb whale hit 9's.

Speedriven modified cars run very consistant times.. I'll bet $1,000 bux srt8 up, if either of you two guys would've had a proper CAI those runs would be 10.5x @ 130+
