SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Top 1/4 times for the V12 TT 600 and the 65?

It would be good to know what a stock turbo real record is, I want to see how close I can get to that record and after the turbos in June see what else I can do as far as records go.

The big body S600 that went 10.50's was Stephen Selden, still here as a member, drives a different car now.
It sure is a tall list.
Funny how the quickest SL65 is 10.70's and the quickest CL65 is 10.20's...

The 10.2 CL65 is def far from bolt ons

With my new Eurocharged tune, I'd think in the right air, this car has a 10.9x in her...

Also CAI on that rig was very advanced too true ram air, they gave little snap shots of their Carbon Fiber CAI but never revealed the proverbial wizard behind the curtain on that mod damnit!!

That 10.2 was def ran on nitrous or more than just tune and bolt ons no matter what ppl say we all know no CL that speds even 10k miles on the dyno will run 10.2 with intakes and a tune.
Im not taking that record into consideration wen I run but with new turbos I will be going after it as well.

lower than that.. And would like to prove my OEM Hannibal'd airboxes do indeed increase hp/tq.. Paypal JUSTshipping fees say $30 odd bux & I'll donate mine to your cause.. Though you need to run filterless for at least 10 miles for ecu adaptation inmop. To keep safe use 50-100 micron SS mesh screen double wrapped, secured w/worm gear clamps (pull air intake tubes off exposing OEM air inlets mounted on radiator shroud, clamp said SS mesh there, then simply reinstall everything, or if fine w/oem little metal intake screens ONLY? Just rock that (inmop unless your driving thru a construction site or near the beach you've got nada to worry about, those OEM screens are ample protection for short distances)
If you run in similar air/DA & get similar 60' I bet 10.8x @ 128+ is easily in range

(unless you just wanna break a record for cl600? run nitrous as Stephen did, though inmop cheating as any car/platform can just add 150-200 rwp in a snap! STILL very impressive seeing otherwise stk piglet run 10.5x)
When I added Benzworks lightweight 2 piece rotors @ all 4 corners the unsprung weight savings is worth much much more than the actual weight saved, it multiples the savings many times, I didn't even have to dyno it to know acceleration from DEAD stop & handling/braking improved quite noticably.. If you don't add ANY of these mods to your build you will be hard pressed to get anywhere near SGC's record or sub 11's in heavy cl600 trust me Im friends w/all track stars here, Jasons cl600 had weight savings mods etc inc 1 helluva a driver & barely squeezed out that 10.9x
These heavy pigs of ours need every unsprung weight advantage available to MORE importantly get the power down & light on its feet so to speak.. Inc super lightweight track wheels, unless you add all these to your mix the Billet turbs you're planning wont be nearly enough ie 50-65 rwhp tops is gained from Billet whl upgrades..
PS on SGC's cl65 record I thought he listed ALL the actual boltons used to quite possibly have made that record legit. He listed them here on MBW many times, including the unsprung mods I listed above he had Black Series turbo's, the Carbon Ceramic brake setup was off an Ferrari F430.. All these mods inmop = a ton of perf vs all OEM bits etc etc..

10.576 - 136,17 MPH. The owner of the car confirmed me a new run of 10.698 - 137,88 MPH 2 weeks ago. On Pump Gas!

O.k. the Brabus Bullit C-Class with 1820 KG/ 4012LBS is a little bit lighter than the SL/CL.
But the MPH shows some serious power and that the GAD-Upgrade works REALLY well on the car.
