Does anyone know where I can go to get my car to pass smog in Cali? It's got a complete stage 3 evosport kit on it. Evosport ran out of business and none of their employees are around. I'm at a loss. Tnx for any recommendations!

Thank you for your reply! I appreciate it. I have new headers, intercooler and some other minors. I changed the pulleys back to stock as the aftermarket ones were showing wear. The problem is not passing the tailpipe sniffer, it's the visual as they open the hood and see the aftermarket setup plus evosport logo etc. I would appreciate any help I could get! Thanks! Where are you guys located?

Headers are going to be the issue to get around.. Ask tuners in your area for suggestions..

Hi, it's not the look of it that matters , I have had many MOT in this country
with all sorts of modifications, but as long as they pass the nozzle up the
tail pipe emission test it's OK. You are presuming that because it looks tuned
then it must have bad emissions , Best of Luck.

Negative.. In California you can fail the visual inspection just because of the look even though you actually pass the emission test.
In addition, some shops are stricter than others because their shop's license is on the line and most shops won't pass you for a measly few hundred $ under the table for the risk of loosing All of their customers..

What part of Cali?

visual , is the problem , there are new smog machines out there and you don't check tail pipe anymore (2000 and up ) .You plug into OBD connector and the machine checks monitors . It will check to see if the light is on and who knows what else.

Hi I think, you have to bring back to original parts on car or you have to call the referee station of BAR? or go asked the smog technician. You may get good news I hope and good luck. 003stars

B A R will not help you , if you modify a vehicle there is NO cost limit to put it back to stock.
