Anyone want to take a stab at diagnosing this?
Just recently bought the car. I knew it needed some TLC. I've read the forums and have heard that the sl55 has its fair share of rattles and clicks. However, I'm slightly concerned with this surging/vibration.
It sounds like it may be the power steering pump, but fluid level is good and viscosity is sound.
I have already purchased a new supercharger clutch bearing and will be installing this weekend, as well as valve cover gaskets.
Thank you in advance for any comments or advice.

The ticking is pretty normal. It is the valve train and on every MB I have owned you can hear the valves.
I am not sure about the other sound. Towards the end of the clip is seems to be gone but I would get a stethoscope ($5 at Harbor-Freight) and put it on the PS pump. Remember that the PS pump is a dual pump as it also provides pressure for ABC.
Is the oil from the filler neck or is the cover leaking?

Initially, I thought it was the filler neck. However, upon further inspection, it appears that the entire valve cover gasket is leaking.
The vibration is intermittent. It come and goes. Lessens when I put pressure on the oil dip stick.
