Hi I recently had to jump start another car from my SL55. I used the starter battery with engine on. Positive was connected to battery on SL and negative to strut.

20 min later I got a red warining on the SL.

What could I be looking at?

It could be that your battery needs time for alternator to replenish the charge that was lost during the jumpstart. Give it some time or better yet apply a trickle charger. If it persists then you may have another issue.

I got it after shipping the car, I got it erased by the dealer.

So probably nothing to worry about.
