Help on suspeension.

I have my lowering module on now, but there is a problem.
When driving fast on long bends when the car hits undulations and bumps
the car starts bumping from side to side, quite frightening at speed. Now
I have 315 x 25 x 20 on the back and I have spacers..
Could it be down to spacers or oversize tyres, should be 305 x 25 x 20.

So it sounds like you have a programa ELM. Is it an ELM 2? If so, what I suggest is adjusting the speed control to bring the car back up to normal drive height at a lower speed than it is currently set. This is the beauty of the ELM for ABC cars IMO. My car is set to drop at very low speeds, but as soon as I reach driving speeds, it goes back to normal drive height so I get that extra travel ABC needs to negotiate those undulations and bumps.

The manual has no words other than Programa.
I am quite unhappy, I had a RennTech fitted to my SL65 and it was great.
This is a Chinese copy if you ask me. They told me they were fitting a
RennTech.

Does the manual have a section on adjusting speed settings?

Hi, no I cannot see speed settings, in fact it says " lower settings are for shows not for driving"
It says from 1 to 7 with AMG cars from 5 to 7 which is 1 inch getting smaller. But the problem is the ride is bouncy with a lack of damping.
It's OK going over a bump if after it is damped, mine seems to carry on
bouncing after the bump. My RennTech never felt this way, so I am going to
persue it,to change to a pucker module.

No I did not get anything to adjust it. I find driving with the raising button
on 1 red light vastly improves the ride, and the general feel, trouble is it
looks to high.

Hi John yes I do have a remote like yours. I am playing around with it, but
it is difficult to get the height right without compromising on the ride.
I have 30 mm on the front and 35mm on the back, front looks good but
rear needs to be lower. Trouble is if I lower the back more the ride is awful.
The people who fitted it had the back down to 60mm, and the ride was like
a bucking bronco..

I think you have to make some compromises. I chose a favorable looking drop while the car was stopped and at low speeds. As the car goes faster, the ELM starts raising back to normal ride height by 1/2 and eventually back to normal ride height at driving speeds. I want the car to look good when I can see it walking out to it or when it is parked. It still looks good when I am going slow, but when I hit normal driving speeds, I chose comfort and handling over looks. I can't see what it looks like when I am driving it anyway.

I suggest finding the "speed settings" and mess with them somewhat. Or, if you would rather look cool but ride bad, I suggest a kidney belt. Not sure if Renntech makes one.

All joking aside, it might take a while to dial everything in to your liking.

I don't know about you,but if someone alters my seat I go made, particularly
if it wasn't in my memory. I would rather something was set and non adjustable, because, yes I am going to fiddle with it , like a man with nits.
I have already adjusted it 3 times to day, it's getting the back right with a
decent ride that's hard. At the moment I am 30mm on the front and 35mm
on the back, any lower makes the ride worse, so if I can I will leave it for
now, that's until one of my friends say " I thought you were going to lower it..
