SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: R230 Adjustable Coilover Kit : It's Finally Happening!
However the thing you need to consider is that the KW Variant 3 coilovers for the 350 are significantly more aggressive than the stock Bilsteins.
They are stiffer and better damped.
As I mentioned previously the lightened SL55 is only 2% over KW's design parameters for the 350 front coilovers.
I have driven the car aggressively through twisty country roads and, combined with the stiffer VVK sway bars, the KWs have performed superbly.
The highest praise that I can give is that the handling and comfort are every bit as good as the 997 Carrera S I previously owned
Make sure you get your wheel alignment checked after you have the coilovers fitter.
Also I would advise initially setting up the ride height about half to three quarters of an inch higher than your target height as it will slowly settle over the first week or so until it reaches its natural compression point.
Make sure to plan on putting in NEW motor mounts and also we ended up putting in an oil pan from a SL500 to give more clearance for the front sway bar.

We do still sell the bars separately, we were planning not to, but in the interest of providing a proper solution, even if customers don't wish to buy our whole kit, they are available for $1299 including all links, brackets, bushings and balljoints (all purely R230 specific parts and difficult to source). I will have them added to our site!
New to this forum but have read up on a lot of post. I picked up a 2003 SL500 last year in October and started putting money into it. I recently ran into a lot of ABC issues so decided to research coil over conversion kits. Came across VVK-USA with the sway bars, links, and coils which was a pretty good deal. I placed an order on November 13, 2017 but no updates on my shipping yet. From reading others posts it seems like it takes about a month to get the kit from VVK. I sent an email and text to Sean but no response yet. I'll keep waiting but getting anxious to get this suspension installed since my ABC pump sounds like its on its last leg.

Car is not ready yet. As soon as it be ready I post a review.
This looks scary !
What is the status on the SL600/65 sway bars? Last we heard new engine mounts were going in and the car would be on the road soon. That was two months ago.
Inquiring minds want to know.....
