SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: R230 Adjustable Coilover Kit : It's Finally Happening!
What is the sway bar connected to if it's not using end links? I'm rather confused, waiting for pics. Traditional macpherson struts setup you have the sway bar attached to the body of the car by 2-3 brackets, then the end of the sway bars are attached to the either the strut or the control arm by way of end links. If he's not using end links then i'm curious as to what the sway bars end up at.
i have done brakes, forged wheels, 2 lithium batteries mounted in the boot for better weight distribution, race seats and many more.
i think I am around 4,100lb at the moment so should be able to get sub 4,000lb with the coil overs.
Has anyone actually proved this coil over system on a V12 yet. I really want to get this done to finish the project off.

What did they do about the tandem pump? Which pump did they use for the power steering now?
When Tavarish did his conversion, on youtube, he used an ML350's pump, but on the V12 it's different, so was curious on what they used. An adapter would mean we'd have to get a custom length drive belt. Man times like this i wish i had bought a 55.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I'm trying to figure that out too, looks like they're welded to part of the knuckle? wouldn't be hard to design loops at the end of it to connect sway bars to LCA.
Car was a delivered to Ed954 yesterdayy
On the 80 mile trip down interstate 95 the car rode amazing for what I expected from how high we went on spring rates.
No exaggeration, the car rides better than my OEM sport package 3 Series and feels like it Corners better as well. Many of the bridge pavement transitions on I-95 are downright harsh in the 3 Series but the SL never felt too firm or uncomfortable. The body is very well controlled and even large road transitions are attenuated within 1.5 compression/rebound cycles.

Just changed the rear tires yesterday, they were really worn due to camber from the lowering links. Went to do an alignment after and was told that the shop folks need to drop the exhaust in order to adjust the toe. The toe right now is something like -62. Plus the car won't start sometimes possibly due to faulty battery and rear pads need to be replaced ASAP. As soon as I fix these issues I will post the real review, but so far I can tell that the car rides amazing, way better than ABC with lowering links, can’t say anything about handling right now due to alignment issues. Will keep everyone posted. Thanks!
