laggy throttle response

It may just be in my head but lately there seems to be a noticeable delay between the time i press the pedal to the floor and the car takes off. A good 2 seconds or so.

I cant determine if its the supercharger is taking longer to engage or if maybe there is a significant delay in the transmission shifting. Anyone have advice on how to determine what the cause is?

Trans shifting delay is a different issue than lag in throttle response. The supercharger does not have to engage for the car to move.

How does the car act during part throttle? When you are in park and jab the throttle to the floor, what happens? If you use the paddle shifters or gear changer (shifter), does the car downshift normaly? Does the car run through the gears normally during full throttle run?

Have the ECU checked for fault codes, one could be (code P0123) pedal position sensor. If you need a pedal, let me know I have a good one for sale.

Get a pedalbox or sprintbooster..I went Pedalbox on my benz and sprintbooster on my ZR1..Pedalbox better has more settings although I never adjust..very touchy in S+...just the way I like it

edit: A tune wouldn't hurt either

It's the dbw tb, we can't get around that. If its too annoying you can try the pedalbox.

Ill try the items you mentioned and report back.

It's the dbw tb,
Is this something that degrades over time? Ive never noticed this behavior before a couple weeks ago.
