I didn't stay true. I went for a Lapis Blue GT2, though I went in for a 996 twin turbo Cabrio. The GT2 is somewhat less general purpose, but it is unbelievably fun and fast. I drove the SL55 to work 4 days a week and now the GT2 2-4 days a week. I do seem to find twistier routes though. Good luck.

Lots of things to look forward to
If you're into cars, the exotic Ferraris such as the Enzo or the harder to find antique models. Or work on a car collection more impressive than the Sultan of Brunei's?
Of course, a few private jets to fly your various friends from all over the world simultaneously to join your party will be fun! Or if you're sick of air and land transportation, a few mega yachts will be sweet.
If you're in real estate, how about owning a few office towers in Manhattan and London or a couple of resort islands?
The toy list is really endless and there are lots of good things in this world to look forward to! Why stop at the low end Ferrari!

well here are the pics from my sl with the blown engine. these pics were taken from the same day that i raced the 360 spyder (look at other post). im going to have to sell all the pieces from the body kit and rims now that the car is a lemon. i had them on for less than a month

i have not taken pics of the blown engine yet ... when i take em ill post em. my car is at the dealership right now .. from the outside the engine looks normal. its the inside thats all messed up. any picture i take will just look like nothing is wrong. ill take a pic once the motor is out of the car completely, but who know when that will be

Wait wait wait your parents said a ferrari would be too flashy. That modded SL is quite flashy too. Go get a 360 and dont look back, you might have to look forward though at the tail lights of the sl55 in front of you but i have come to turms with this fact and we will just have to see about the new ones. If this is your daily driver though go for the 996tt cab. 360 isnt a daily driver at all, nice just not a daily driver.
ohh and by the way you might want to learn just a bit about your car too, ie how an engine works and physics of cornering and so on. You got quite a nich car and ya dont want to look stupid when someone asks you about it. Not a rant just a few words.

the price is estimated at 350,ooo dollars. and it will be out in about 2 yrs. i cant wait that long, and id rather have the 360 for half the price.
but. i have placed the order for the porsche turbo cab last week, and i should be getting it in 3 months.
