I am a newbie here.
I have fallen for the sound of the SL 55 .( who hasnt) I have owned an 07 SL 550 and an 01 E55 and now want to marry the two with a great SL 55 . I am in lower CT , near New York Border if any one knows of a good honest original example for sale I would be interested. I also have potentially to trade a 1993 500E that is in good condition.

Dont do it. The SL55s are known to just fkn explode, leaving the drivers stranded in the desert. Its true. Even if you arent anywhere near a desert, thats where you end up. Yep.
