SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Black Nappa Leather an option for 2005 model year?

Black Nappa Leather an option for 2005 model year?
I am getting ready to order a 2005 SL55. From one dealer I heard that black nappa leather is a new choice. The dealer from which I intend to actually order the car has not heard of this option. Is there anything online or something that you have seen that lists this as an interior choice?

Wait shouldnt Nappa be standard on the SL anyways, I always thought it was??!!! What about the CL??? I thought nappa would be standard on the S/CL/SL Classes.. Hmmmm

08 CL600 Black
I didn't see black on the config screen when I ordered. I think it's also based on the color of the car. In my case, I chose Capri Blue and the only available seat colors where Charcoal, Ash, Black Nappa and Black/Berry Red. I really wanted to go with chestnut/beige with the Capri Blue. Apparently, that seat color is only available on the 500 and 600 but not for the AMG cars.

Well, I think the issue here isn't the fact that nappa leather will be available, because the 55s and 600s already have nappa. Before, Sls didn't have black interior, it was just charcoal, which was a two-tone interior with darker and lighter charcoal in the car. I think the black interior that has been added as an option is to make the interior color solid black, instead of two tone like it is on current cars. personally, I think this is great, since I wasn't a big fan of the two tone charcoal, and wanted the more traditional all-black on the car.

Are there any MB dealers who read this forum can could answer the question: Is black instead of charcoal an interior color choice for the 2005 SL55?
I am traveling for a week and won't be able to talk to my dealer until I return.

The way it is listed in Netstar is as follows:
Upholstery:
281 - AMG Charcoal
287 - Berry Red/Charcoal
288 - AMG Ash/Dark Ash
Now, under the Options/Wood trims there is listed:
X11 - designo Blk Uph (Designo Black Upholstery)
I would assume that there may be a Special Order Charge for this, but not sure at the moment.
