Good times!

i see on drag times you say Stock rod length does that imply that the motor has been worked on?
also how did you get the trans brake to work with the tcu?

Wow, man that SL is sucking wind like a ****. Whats the big deal if you run a 50 dry shot?? Dont be so hard on the giggle juice man, embrace it. If you hit that beyatch on the break with a 50 shot, I bet you pull the wheels!!! Did you have the pistons and rods made? Raise the compression? Never thought I'd see an SL go 9s, but I bet we will soon enough. GL!

after 4 yrs of beating on that motor I decided to freshen it up with stock sized rods pistons and rings,it is a 5.4 motor stock head gaskets with ARP head studs, and stock compression ratio, didn’t want to mess around as I run Kleemann cams, wanted something a little stronger for the boost I’m running, everything is working out nicely with the new assembly a 138 trap was awesome to see,as far as the TB,I only used it two times, the last 2 runs on the video, and having a stock converter it actually hurt my 60 ft times,I have no clue if it even interacts with the TCU,and that’s the first time I actually tried it out lol wasn’t good as you can see, little experimenting with trying to get better 60 fts without having a 3k converter, but hey trial and error, thanks for all the interest in my car though,I don’t even know what you run ?do you take your car to the track ?

Spraying nitrous is like dating a stripper ,you can never get enough and in the end your left broke and usually with a big mess on your hands wondering why the F did I ever get involved with this lol
stock sized aftermarket rods pistons and rings no increase in Comp ratio, basically sent my stock rods and pistons to a company that made exact duplicates at this point TB is slowing me down, slower 60 fts ,
after I got my GTS this is my toy so I decided to make if faster, I could be in the 9 s very easily drop a few things out of the car and I’m done, but I wanted to do it so all I do is add race fuel and the drag pak,def not going the nitrous or meth route, maybe there will be a nice cold day in the very near future before the tracks close and I’ll score 9.99999
Have you made your car any faster ? Or have something else now ?
havent ran the GTS yet but it should be right around 10.8x with the tune on it,car is bonkers ,a go cart

What coating did you use on your pistons or did you sleeve the motor?

Of course I sleeved the motor as repairing the Scratches in the stock block would be way more involved, there is a coating on the sides and top of the stock sized stock compression pistons ,I don’t know exactly what it’s called but I can find out ,I can tell you it is an open deck stock bore sleeve NOT DARTON ,STOCK BORE 5.4 Motor ,

Sounds like you did it right. Too many people will try to use an uncoated/standard forged piston in the stock bore and, as you know, it does not work for long.

Centerline,

I have raced old cars like fox body and Buick one thing I do know that it's hard to take off tenths let alone gain 4 mph when you are already going very fast. Only 2 ways to do that, either major weight reduction or add a lot of hp.

In your video you are pretty much full weight and that means major hp has been put to the car. Even with 18psi you are no where near the amount of power to make 138mph. In fact you have claimed 600.6hp on a mustang dyno. You need to be making over 750hp to run your time and mph.

This forum has become so much about hyping NO NITROUS that it is impossible not to believe that you are not running nitrous in fact why would you need 2 fuel pumps if not running nitrous.

No one cares about running nitrous because your car is fast anyway but to make people believe that you are not using chemical enhancement to achieve this is a lie.

Case in point

RBJ ran 10.25@138 with major weight reduction and 700hp or so yet you with a heavier car manage a faster time and same mph.

Another example is bill with the E55 running 10.1@137 and he had a weistec blower with a 100 shot of nitrous.

The laws physics cease to exist on your car.

I’m not shocked by your response , but to call me a liar is a little much ,My car had 605 690 on a mustang Dyno from two years ago when I wasn’t running the same Boost that I am now,I also have an SL not a E55 ,You’re comparing me to cars that had a TwinTurbo set up and another car that had a different blower , I don’t know what gear ratios these cars were running mine is different .I can’t speak for their cars but I can speak for mine it is well known at Atco And plenty of people will tell you there is no nitrous and no methanol I am also not into physics, all I know is I have a nice combination right now so if you want to throw a hand grenade at it with your assumptions go right ahead.
