2009 SL (R231) Headrests fit on R230?

Has anyone converted the headrests that come with the R231 from 2009 for their R230? What is the process and any pros/cons?

Perhaps I am confused by the question but my 2009 SL is an R230. The first R231 in the US was the 2013. The headrests in my 2009 are different from my 2005 SL in that the 2009 has the AirScarf system in the headrests. It looks like they would physically interchange but new passenger and driver door panels from 2009 would be needed to get the controls. I imagine the wiring and connectors in the seats are different are well.

Thanks. I meant the 2009 vs. the 2006-2008 SLs. I saw the following 2006 sl65 that had the newer headrests installed (along with the body kit, etc.). Was wondering what it would take to make the 2009 headreast compatible with an older model SL from 2008, if that makes sense.

Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension
if you can get the posts to fit, you could add either one and you would have to provide 12v for the fan, maybe connect it to the vent seat fan

i talked with that guy about his car and passed on it. he stated when i spoke with him that the steering wheel buttons don't actually work and the seats he just swapped over from a newer car, but that airscarf function did not work on them.
