New garage old lift
So after hurricane Harvey destroyed the old garage we're moving into new house which has 1800 sq/ft of garage space.
I managed to salvage my MAXJAX garage lift and my custom made chair with LED lights to work under the cars. I used to have this same set up when I had my Porsche 928"s and it has served me well.
Setting up the garage is still a work in progress but today I did a first test lift on the MAXJAX with the SL55 in the new space.
MJ close up
MJ with lots of space around it
Lift chair with LED's
Lift chair seat can raise up and down moves about 18" for comfort and close reach

good to have your garage space back for sure.
somewhat fascinated by the lift-chair (my aging eyes can never get enough light when I am using my lift). More pics and info please !
You may want to consider getting a longer hydraulic line for one side of your Maxjax so you can have one line go up and over the car (so you wont have to roll over/around it). I think I paid less than $40 for a longer line that I got for a maxjax ... worked out very well.
Cheers and happy holidays !

I do have the longer lines as it used to be overhead (see attached) in my old garage that fell victim to hurricane Harvey the new house has an 1800 sq/ft garage with the house on top of it.
I made the chair from HF components - 600lbs hydraulic transmission jack - HF creeper cut up to make the seat - and 2 flexible shaft with LED's light (they stay cool to the touch) so I can spot them in any direction needed and they move along when I roll the chair with my feet - The height of the chair adjust by just pumping the hydraulic transmission jack while I'm seated - I extended the back of the base with wheels/parts of the cut up creeper so it can not tip over when I lean back in the chair - The set up makes it comfortable to work under the car in a very relaxed manner - Future plans are to mount some additional tool trays and perhaps a drink holder I look up some more pictures on an old back up drive and will post them.
