AC low pressure port
Hey Guys,
Driving from Florida to NY as we speak. The AC is not blowing ice cold air..but just tiny cold and it’s hot in the car.
i want to recharge the AC if it’s the issue but I can’t find the low pressure line. Is it the top or bottom one?
Thanks

Out Of Control!!
If you need refrigerant that usually means you have a leak in the system---why not stop at South of the Border and have someone put a set of gauges on the car---then you will know what is really wrong

Not sure what it is, the red light came on. It still blows cold air for the first 10-15 min b4 gradually getting warmer..to nada.

The low pessure is the large line, the top port. If you buy one of those cheapo adaptors, it will only fit the low side port, they are different size connections.
If it starts cold then gets warm, I doubt it's just low on refrigerant. There's probably something else going on. Would suggest taking it and having it actually checked out rather than just pumping freon into it, but if you're on a road trip I understand the situation there.

So this is the low pressure?
I hooked it up to STAR. I got a 1075B communication error with the AC. Perhaps a sensor.
will keep looking into it
