Loss of power on the move!
2003 SL55 AMG
When hammering along by means of prodding the accelerator pedal on spirited drives, I get moments of loss of power. I keep moving along but pressing the pedal doesn't provide acceleration, then suddenly, back to normal. Sounds like TPS failure; right? Well that's a fault I got on STAR, so bought a new accelerator pedal(actually first bought a used one), but still get the failure!
Will be taking it back on STAR. Really need help on this.
Any suggestions?

probably worth confirming that the inter-cooler pump is functioning properly as well.

Spot on.
Hooked up STAR & according to my INDY, the inter-cooler pump is not functioning properly as he is getting high temperature readings. He also states he's done quite a few of these.
Now have to find part number & where best to buy; should this best be a Mercedes Genuine part!?
Appreciate your input.
