Oil level sensor
I can't check the oil level on my 07 SL55 . Regardless of how long I wait it says Observe Wait time.

Sensor? Do I have to drop the pan to fix it?

No need to drop the pan, the oil sensor sender unit is fixed to the underside of the pan and held in with one torx bolt and the electrical connection.

You are best to do it when you do an oil change (otherwise the oil will pour out of the sender unit hole).

My memory might be a bit fuzzy. Looks like 3 torx bolts from that photo!
