IRONIC THAT THIS GUY HAS BEEN POSTING THAT CAR ON E-BAY FOR ABOUT 1 MONTH, AND EVERY TIME THE PRICE GETS HIGHER, THEN TODAY I GET A PHONE CALL FROM SOME BROKER IN AZ WHO SAYS HE HAS A SL-65 ON THE GROUND HE WILL GIVE TO ME FOR 35-40K OVER AND WHEN I ASKED FOR THE LAST 7 OF THE VIN AND RUN A NET-STAR ON IT THE CAR IS JUST IN PRODUCTION NOW, AND THEN HE SAYS HE WILL STRIKE A DEAL WITH ME IF I GIVE HIM SOME OF MY CUSTOMERS NAMES, IS THIS IDIOT NUTS OR WHAT, I HAVE THE FIRST 3 SL-65s COMING TO THE MIDWEST, ALL WILL BE SOLD AT MSRP, AND WILL BE RELEASED SOON, THEY HAVE BEEN SITTING IN A STORAGE FACILITY IN BELCAMP AWAITING BENZES O.K TO RELEASE THEM, FROM WHAT I WAS TOLD TODAY BY DISTRIBUTION, BE PATIENT THEY WILL BE RELEASED SOON. Are you sure that's legit? The car is described as black, but no real pictures of the SL65 IN black.

Also, the price is pretty low for a first-shipped-to-U.S. car. The VIN number is also tagged as 00000000000000000.

To me, it's a fishy auction this guy's got goin'. But that's just me.

 

That Guy Is F.o.s I Went A Few Rounds With Him, And Assured Him He Was, And When He Finally Found Out Who I Was And What Capabilities I Had He Shut Up. I Sent Him My 3 Sl65 Net Stars And Also The Tracking Info That Showed Exactly Where My Cars Are And Then I Sent Him His, Wasn`t He Depressed, He Said He May Have Phrased It Wrong Not The 1st One In The States But The 1st One Delivered At This Paticular Dealer, If Anyone Out There Wants To Know Where Their Sl65 Is, Production,on The Water, At The Vpc, Give Me A Pm And Tell Me What State You Are In, And What Dealer, And I Will Send You A Copy Of Your Car Vin,color,options,and Price.

 

43k was just for the right to buy it... and there was no guarantee on what the selling price from the dealer was.

The comment about low price seems to have misinterpreted what was for sale..

i have tried everything to get a release date out of mercedes for this car, rarely do they release pricing without releasing the cars, but as of today i was told that it will be sooner than later, same answer i got a few days ago
as many people know 1 specific dealer will not recieve their car before anyone else, benz will release the cars sitting at the vpc all at once, the first group of cars will go to the dealers who are the largest in their market, suprisingly enough, dealers closest to the ports have a tendency to get cars before anyone else but only because of demographics, i.e closest to port, and for someone to say they are getting the first one they are full off ****,
because the v.p of benz has had his for about a month now, and they also raffled one off on the east coast recently, and as soon as the cars are released the winner can pick it up. so let anyone who wants to talk as much doo-do as they want, when i see the car, in person i will believe it

 

Im not 33 y/o...im 34. Interventional pain management, but i dont have any kids or family so i can enjoy toys now. I love my job....if you go into medicine for money, you will be one of the many docs who commit suicide cuz they are miserable.

Ill be taking one of those 3 cars.
