Carbon-Ceramic Brakes
I'm looking at a Certified 2018 SL 63 AMG with 6,000 one-owner miles that has the colors and options I want, however it has the carbon-ceramic brakes (original) and I need to know if anyone has had or knows of issues with them. It’s not a matter of expense, just reliability & longevity, with little to no track usage anticipated. How long do the rotors and/or pads last (I know, they're expensive)? Noise? Repair issues? If you know of a review article someplace I could use a link to that also. Thanks for any help.

If you are just street driving, the rotors should last the life of the car. You may do pads once, but that's it. If you are road course tracking, that's when they will get a lot of wear.
