Carbon fiber trim came unglued

I have the carbon fiber trim on my 2008 SL65. It looks as though it cannot be re-glued without removing the door panel as it will need to be clamped well all the way around the panel.

What is the best glue to use?? Or is there something better? Also, is it necessary to disconnect the battery to deactivate the airbags in the door? If so, which battery?

TIA!!

age old problem. get some clear 2 part epoxy. try to san under the carbon and lanel to get it scratched up. Glue it and press something against it hard for 24 hours. It may or may not last

Airbags in the door haha! Just dont leave the car on, you can disconnect the 1-2 door connectors easily. I had some trouble taking the door panel off my first time because it is quite stubborn and requires you lift and pull hard at an angle (find a youtube video about it) but I will need to do this again myself soon. I am also missing some clips so my trim is not perfect, may need to grab more of those as well.
