Yes sure, I just bought my first SL55 last month 2003 with 80k miles.
I would say from my research is:
ABC suspension - After checking mine before purchasing I am starting to think I have a very small issue with ride height. Check ride hide before and after a drive and not just parked up.
Soft-close boot - I am still researching if this is a standard feature, but looks like most r230s soft close fails due to an actuator leaking air in the bootlid
Massaging seats - again work on air so check these as the air lines under the seat can leak, so system shutsoff after a few mins
Roof mechanism - ideally also check for leaks or any damp carpet in the boot
ABC service history check for ABC flushing or replacement/services stuts/actuators/valve bodies
Intercooler pump - Again these all seem to fail especially if they are original - Bosch made an upgraded bump which is about £150. Symptoms are loss or power, intermittent power. I had this on mine in the first week
Prop shaft bearing - Mine needed changing as it was knocking from 0mph-15mph from rest

I did test drive the car and everything seemed to work properly, the salesman did say it was sitting for a bit and the car battery had low voltage so a few things like the top didn't go down, and a message on the dash saying "stop braking power reduced" but only when the car was parked and off..? I was told it would be taken to the Mercedes dealership to be fixed
