Since i've owned this car used, I haven't seen the tire pressure monitor show the PSI per tire. It just displays a general message that TPMS is active. If i get a flat tire it will warn me to check my tire pressure.
I'm curious, does the display not show each tire because the TPMS is low on batteries or is it not designed to show each tire pressure. The user manual seems to indicate it should show each tire.
I'm wondering about this same issue. I've had my 06' US spec SL65 car less than 6 months and it did warn me when I had a flat, but it won't show the little diagram which I've seen (see below). I put new tires on last week and also had them install and code new TPMS in each wheel. The monitor/warning works, but I can't display individual pressures. Is there a STAR setting that might enable or disable this function?
There are two types of TPMS: The basic one that only lets you know when your tires have dropped below a certain value and the one that shows you real time pressure in each tire. I'm unsure how the car is ordered to have the "premium" one. On W211 e55s, the early 03-04 models did not come with tpms standard and it had to be optioned with it (probably as part of a package) and if it did have it, it was a the "premium" tpms. later models just came standard with the basic one.

Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension
if it doesnt display the tire press it isnt the right sensors. They put the wrong ones in. theres only one replacement part. Or you could go out and calibrate it with the buttons and it will start working.
I was browsing Alldata info on TPMS and comparing to my option code and found that there are indeed two different versions of TPMS as @desired_speeds pointed out. Mine is code 470 so that must be basic monitoring and I think code 475 is the one that displays the individual pressures when selected.
