SL55 Windshield blowers not blowing
Hi, first post here, looking for a bit of help/advice from guys who've had these cars for a while.
I've had my SL55 (late 2002) for about 6 months. I have an issue with the climate control not blowing through the demist vents at the bottom of the windscreen. I know:

I've had my SL55 (late 2002) for about 6 months. I have an issue with the climate control not blowing through the demist vents at the bottom of the windscreen. I know:
- The blower works fine as I get good air out of other vents
- Issue occurs both when you use the demist button on the climate control and when you try and manually use the controls to direct air at the windscreen
- I'm not getting any funny noises from behind the dash to indicate a stepper motor or arm broken.

Great car you have.
I would read the owners manual closely to make sure you have the controls set correctly for the windshield vents first.
Certain models do have issues with the arms on the stepper motors, but I am not sure the R230 has those issues.
The best answer is to hook up a Star system and see what it tells you. It can detect HVAC issues and point to the answers.
