Hii folks. New to the SL55 forum. I’ve diagnosed light rattling at idle as my supercharger pulley clutch plate (bearing’s new). I believe its held on with three rivets. Apparently, they may fatigue somewhat. I don’t see this as a major issue, other than the rattling at idle is annoying. Given that they are rivets, instead of replacing the entire pulley, couldn’t a machining shop or similar just tighten them up by pressing them?

Seriously, you can get new stock from MB or new aftermarket from various suppliers. I wouldn't chance it by messing with a used one.
