Glad I got mine back when I did, I spent just under half that price and mine is carbon. The picture just has the shadow over it so you can't make out the weave, you can see it better in my build thread.

i have a different question on the side. I have an issue with the physical ECU. it's been on threads here before where the radiator cooling fans spins at high rate of speed as soon as car is turned on. I've had two different Mercedes mechanics look at it and tell me it's the hardware inside the ECU that controls the fan. Do you know or have anyone here in the U.S. that works on fixing the physical ECU? I'm not talking about tuning - i'm talking about take my ECU and repairing it.

That magma red is not only unique but probably the most beautiful shade of red I've ever seen. Too bad MB only offered it for 1 year.

So they no longer advertise but they custom make this to order. You won't find this on any websites or anything like that. You will have to email Brad at mr.x@extremespoilers.com. The price is now $650 but I think it's worth it. Once you sort out all the details, he will send you a Paypal invoice. I was thinking of buying another one as a backup diffuser in case something happens to the first one.
I bought mine for $600 but I negotiated down and you cannot do that because of all the shipping, labor, and other costs going up. I have this installed on my SL55 and the diffuser looks like money. You can tell it's not some cheap isht.
BTW, I don't know why this was such a big secret either.

I’m also looking for a rear spoiler and a front lip. Do you by any chance have any information regarding this. Ebay has a lot of items but I’m not sure which ones are with the money. thank you again

the front lip, I lucked out and I found that on eBay from a body shop that had listed it. I'm happy with it. As far as the rear deck spoiler - look up - SL550 SL600 2011 Fit FOR Mercedes Benz SL R230 2DR Trunk Spoiler V Look Carbon. Or the eBay item number is 324106739312.
I'm very happy with the spoiler as well - the design, the glossy carbon fiber weave, the ease of install.
