Oil Separator SL55

Has anyone put an oil separator on their PCV system?

If so where did you buy it and also where did you tap in to the PCV

Thanks,
John

as for tap in - just a hose to conviniet palce where you can locate oil separator(2) , from valve cover to T connector and back to stock inlet port in area of throttle body.

2003 SL55 / 2002 SLK32
This one is reasonably priced, comes with all hoses, etc you need for the install and is made for the SL55 (it is a design they provide for a variety of m112K AND m113K applications that is finished with an application specific mounting provision). I have had this on my 2003 SL55 (for 4 years?) and it seems to do the job. I also have the another version of this on my SLK32 (6 Years?) and it works well for that too.

On my 2003 F250 (7.3 powerstroke), I have a provent200 (4 years?) that works really well, but it only has one "input" so you would have to "T" or use 2 (and you would have to come up with your own hoses, etc).

the Ryco that is linked above, looks like another good choice too (I expect it is similar to the Provent200)
Hope that helps,
Chris

the provent by mann rated for diesel only.
The one I put a link to is also works with gasoline.
Also I watched couple videos on youtube about crankcase pressure with stock pcv, with moroso style catch cans, other different catch cans, provent 200. The results are shocking - almost all catch cans raise pressure very badly from stock, provent200 was raising it a little bit...
provent 200 is limited to~350hp, so the amount of gases it can handle is not enough for 500hp, so you need 2 of these to cover m113k engine.

Does the M113K actually need a catch can? Factory system works just fine, unlike in the M156 where oil pools in the intake manifold without one.

on high performance engine you. Need only high octane fuel. Maintain full oil. Why put extra work on cats, as they hate oil. Some people say m113k consuming oil. Clean intercooler. Probably will have to be cleaned.
