Side Laminate Glass
Do any MB models come with laminated side glass like the front windshield? I have heard that manufacturers are changing from tempered side glass to laminate side glass. This would be good to know in case of roll over or ending up in water.

It's not a new thing, I had a 2001 and 2002 Audi S8 and both had laminated glass front and rear as standard equipment. I believe my wife's 2010 E63 has laminated front glass. Hell even my wife's old Ford Flex Limited Ecoboost had laminated side glass in the front. I was actually pretty surprised that the R230 does not, it does a good job of reducing wind noise.
