2003 SL55 AMG GT , 2000 BMW 323I coupe

ABC question

My biggest fear has occurred a few times and really need some input.
The red ABC warning light occassionally appears for a short period when I drive over bumps or rough road.
The fluid level is perfect and the filter was changed about 10k miles ago. The car has 86k miles on it and shows extensive regular maintenance checks while it was in dealers possession as a demo vehicle. Saw the history on a carfax history report before buying. It's an 03 SL55 AMG.
Any input is appreciated.

There is really little reason to fear ABC. Your problem is simply a failed front and/or rear accumulator. An accumulator cost just c. $120 and is neither time-consuming nor difficult to install.
