Thumbs up Renntech Sl600 vrs. Lambo G and Porsche Gt2

A real Story,

I Recieved my car from Renntech and I was testing it out. Low and behold a car lovers dream. A lambo Gillardo and and Gt-2 pulled onto the Parkway and screamed by me. I made a dash up to them at about 80 miles an hour and they took off. I nailed it and left them like they both missed gears. The Porsche was 2nd, if you call 10 car lengths 2nd. It was amazing! They pulled up to me at the toll plaza and could not believe they got smoked by a Mercedes. They both asked what the hell is it? I told them that it was stock, SL 600. ( Although we new it wasn't)They both laughed almost like they were stupidly embarrassed. I really don't Believe in street racing, but it was at 10 pm on a thursday night and I wanted to see what the beast could do. Thought you would like a true story from a real owner.

Thanks

Question

Since we have had many bull**** artists on this forum, maybe we should ask for proof of ownership before abusing people. So, smoothdaddy, would you be kind enough as to post pics, especially as you are a new and unknown member, then we will know for sure without pages of stupid insults, and keep to the idea of sharing information. Thanks

smoothdaddy,

Nice car, but you gotta take the suspension off the high setting when taking pics. That makes the car look way too high and the rims look smaller than they in reality. BTW, mercedesman10 has really left a tainted feeling in this forum, it is a real shame!!!

Not a surprising result, especially at higher speeds, given the huge disparity in HP and torque that a tuned SL600 should have over those cars. High powered MBs are kings of high speed, straight-line racing. Nice ride by the way.

HMMMMMMM so you just got the car back and already your selling it on ebay? Seems like your total poser. Nice try though.

Check that out. Same exact picture he posted in the forum claiming it was his. Selling it rite after you get it customized, or did you just get snagged?

If you look at my original post before this one, you would see that I was selling the car. Oh and if you look at the dyno sheets, you will see my name Evans clearly in the report. I sell cars after I build them to people who do not want to waste time in the development.

Cars Owned in the past and present:

2001 996tt Modified (sold)
2001 Audis S8 Supercharged only one That I know of. 440hp (Still own)
2004 Durango Hemi Still own
2002 BMW z8 Sold

Thanks,

awww man, for a sec there wit the pix and all i thought the dude was real,
guess it was just a wannabe tho i wish he wouldn't be a fraud

btw that car is still nice, too bad teh rear lights aren't the sl55 ones or else that'd be a really sweet car. personally dun like the front kit for the f1 body bit, but the wheels are real nice.

can anyone tell me what the amg side kit difference is compared to stock kit

I think there is a really easy way to prove that "smoothdaddy" isn't a liar. I sure hope that a person with enought money to buy and Renntech Sl600 can afford digital camera.

Honestly i'll be very happy to know that this person isn't another poser. Couple pictures of the same car will work for me.

Thank You for understanding.

This car has less than 3000 miles. It was built specifically to compete against the SLR, SL 65, Porsche GT, Ford GT, and Ferrari 600. In all cases it will out perform them while at the same time be a Comfortable legitimate daily driver.
First of all, Your car will not outperform a Carrera GT, Ford GT, or the SLR. It might be able to out accelerate these cars, but the handling won't even be close! The SL is just too heavy.

I think he means overall, on the road. Sure in the track it will get beaten, but on the road the SL will be a much more accomplished than any other car, especially, which he intends, straight line acceleration.

The Carrera GT would be just about the same in acceleration. I would bet it's a lot more stable at high speed and will smoke the Renntech in braking and any kind of handling. No question the SL is a smoother ride than the Porsche.

im kinda suprised no one asked this, but if it really your car, which im not saying im doubting, you should take a pic with a personal touch, that would make the car distinctive to you owning it, like putting something on the car. just a suggestion, since there are a lot of ppl who say you dont own one, its just hard to believe since mercedes10 came here.

I will take another picture with me and the car

I will be wearing brown and black shirt and brown paints.

I looking to sell the car as I said in the beginning, but I think this forum has some really jealous or immature posters.

Thanks.

I for one believed you right off the bat. I also saw the car on ebay and you dont seem like the posers that we usually have.
