The clips in the bottom storage tubs are also latching into that backing. Be sure to unclip otherwise those clips will break.

Trim parts changing...

THank you, for explenation ! I never work on my car myself ( means I am not able to do some mechanical work / or do not dare to ) - would maybe, end up in a disaster.
Do you already order this trim parts in dark wood? Here in Europe this parts are really expensive if you want to change them to a special kind of wood of carbon. (and on the top of it, you have to wait for a couple of weeks, when ordering them at AMG manufaktur),
Compared to the costs of the parts, the labour / installation is not that expensive, and I would not risk to damage the new ones, in trying to install them myself.
