Best Double Din Stereo for fit & sound for SL55
Hey Jonesboy here! July 2021 what aftermarket Double Din 7 inch touch screen stereos would you guys recommend for fit & sound quality in the SL55? I'm looking at the Alpine iLX-W650 but concerned about making sure it will fit with adapter kit on Amazon before I buy.

pretty mmuch any double din will fit with the metra kit. i went with the pioneer appradio b/c it looks like a tablet and thus more OEM like. I also had the double din kit and all the rest of the dash pieces hydro dipped in carbon fiber to look all the same and less like an aftermarket radio was put in. since yours is an 05 a simple/cheap MOST adapter will allow you to use any aftermarket radio and retain the factory speakers and amp, though for best sound rewiring and starting from scratch would theoretically be best
