Just bought an SL55. Can you you give any gas without spinning the wheels?
As the title states, I feel that any time a give some gas, the rear wheels just spin and the traction light comes one. Is this the normal experience? For sure around town, but it seems that until I am approaching highway speeds it will just cut power.
Previous owner did tune the car, but top pulley looks stock. Rear wheels are 295/35/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Also just to clarify a bit, anything above half throttle at lower speeds causes this. If I am lite on the pedal there are no issues.
Just feels that if i want to give it some power it just spins the tires and cuts out.
Could the tune be affecting throttle sensitivity any making it more aggressive with less pedal input?

Current: C217 V12TT AMG Previously: C55 AMG, SL65 AMG
If the tires are not cold or old, then the throttle response was probably tuned to be more sensitive. Just need to learn to drive with it
