2009 SL63 Broken headbolt

Hereby some pictures of the work in progress.

I'm working on curing a small amount of coolant loss on a 2009 SL63 - As I found some coolant in the engine oil. The suspect became a failed cylinder head gasket due to the failure of one or more of the head bolts.
So far I have found one head of the #7 (intake side) head bolt to be broken.

The attached pictures tell the story.
Next will be the cylinder heads removal to see what else needs to be cured.

Best H

looks like quite the project. Amazing how failing to replace a head bolt before failure can cause so much extra needed work.

Yes, based on the known headbolt issue on these engines, I proactively replaced mine a few years back. Cost a lot but worth it for peace of mind.
