SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: New SL premiere

New SL premiere
Got a random notification from Youtube that they were debut'ing the new SL today @ 10am.
I was able to catch it, so my thoughts:
1) It's a beautiful car. Absolutely beautiful.
2) It looks like what you thought it would look like, based off of the spy shots and renders
3) It's looks more like a derivative of the AMG GT roadster, rather than the R230/231 brethren (and group in the R129 as well). This is a plus, as the SL and GT roadster definitely needed to be combined.
4) It definitely looks like they've channeled the history of the original SL, so it's nice to see in this iteration
Overall, this will be an amazing car; I love it. My only personal gripe, and this is strictly my personal issue, is that I originally fell in love with the R230 V12. Something about having that modern hardtop with a nuts V12 TT was just....over the top for me. And that's what I loved about it, regardless that it was not truly original-SL lineage.
