I’ve been searching, but having a helluva time finding definitive answers, perhaps due to the age of the platform. Any help, pointers to threads, search criteria, etc are appreciated:

- what is the max tire width that will fit? Can one fit 305/30-19 in the rear and 265/35-19 in front?

- are devices available to add Bluetooth reception for calls and music through the UHI port in the armrest? If not, does replacing the stock COMAND system have a significant effect on resale value of the vehicle? Is it possible/better to retrofit COMAND from a newer vehicle?

- the car is equipped with Keyless Go, but it didn’t come with the card, just the regular key. Is it possible to get a new card/key?

2003 was the last year to use a keyless go card. all years after used a keyless go key. Check with Mercedes for availability (you will have to have them program it for you).

I have a 2007 and got a new key from the dealrship just over a year ago. Yes, there is a bluetooth device available (mine is MB but there are cheaper ones from China) that connect to the UHI port in the armrest and allow a phone to bluetooth to it. It was a little tricky at first to get it to connect and required knowing "the code" but once connected for the first time the hands free blue tooth has worked great. My understanding is 2007 is the first year this conversion is possible. If you need more help with the code or setting this up I would be happy to go back to my notes on how to do it or talk on the phone about it.
